The Empire State building is arguably the most iconic building in New York City. From "King Kong" to "Sleepless in Seattle" the building has provided picturesque backdrops in movies since it was erected in 1931. The Art Deco building has 102 floors, and on a clear day visitors who make the trip to the observation deck are able to see 5 different states -- Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New York.
