A well-fitting suit can transform the way you look and feel.
Micah Johnson and Courtney Colavita, two fashion editors from Details magazine, joined "Good Morning America Weekend" with their tips and advice for men to find a suit that best suits them.
If You Want to Look Taller:
Avoid suit jackets with a high-button stance and wide ties.
Never wear double-breasted suits.
Look for a one- or two-button pinstripe suit, with a lean cut and a narrow tie, which will help to elongate your frame.
If You Want to Look Thinner:
Avoid bold-patterned and light-colored suits.
Look for navy, black and charcoal single-breasted suits, along with a light-colored shirt.
Wear a substantial shoe, like an Oxford, to help balance a heavier man.
If You Want to Look Broader:
Avoid roomy jackets and thin ties.
Look for light-colored suits, such as khaki and light gray, with a bit of structure.
Skip the tie if you can.
Peak lapels will also help broaden the chest.
If You Want to Look Younger:
Avoid vintage-style suits, brown tones, wide lapels and silk-blend material.
Never wear pleats.
Look for a slim two-button suit with narrow lapels, which look more modern. Or perhaps try a medium gray suit, worn with a crisp white shirt, and a solid tie for a sharp, fresh look.
