Dec. 5, 2007 — -- For two months designer Brad Oldham oversaw the construction and decoration of "Good Morning America's" Dallas-themed holiday window, which was unveiled today.

Designed in coordination with the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, the display aimed to bring some of the city's urban cowboy and Southwestern style to the Big Apple. The famed Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders helped usher in the third and final city to create a holiday display for "Good Morning America."

Unlike previously unveiled cities, which are known for their blustery and chilly holiday seasons, the Big D takes its holiday cues from big, bold lights, culture and fun. The window shows off Dallas' "Live Large. Think Big" motto with crystal-studded holiday lights, a Western-style Christmas tree and with a slew of uniquely Dallas gifts beneath it.

Oldham custom-designed more than a dozen illuminated resin sculptures featured in the display for the country's ninth largest city.

The window also pays tribute to Dallas' heritage with a modern design that represents the new urban city and provides a new look at some old staples.
