Single Mom Ready to 'Strut Her Stuff'

How thrilling to have an opportunity to dance with a professional, dress up like a star and "strut my stuff." I have a passion for dancing. I've been told I'm a "dancing machine." I smile from ear to ear because I'm happy when I dance.

I have always thought if I can come back to this world again, I hope I am tall, have long legs and am a professional dancer. I am only 5'1", but feel like a BIG star on the dance floor. This would be a lifetime opportunity, a real challenge and I would like to be given this awesome chance.

I have danced in the past in the "Follies," a variety show in my local town of Truckee, Calif. I love the excitement of being on stage and "shaking my booty." This last year, I started taking ballroom dance lessons and am certain I will continue this for the rest of my life. I absolutely love it. But, working, being a single mom with a son still in high school and a daughter getting married, I've put my dancing on hold.

I'm a great fan of "Dancing with the Stars" and dream about myself learning all those routines, especially the Latin moves. I have good rhythm, I work out in the gym and am very flexible. I completed the Honolulu Marathon, three mini-triathlons and like to bike, hike and kayak. I really enjoy the outdoors.

I'm 54 years old with three children, but in my mind I am ageless and youthful. I have a tremendous amount of energy and great endurance. I would be an inspiration to the "mature" audience. I am a very fun, energetic mom who loves to have a good time with family and friends. If given this exciting opportunity, I would show the voters how this mom can DANCE.
