Tomorrow we will all be going home. This has been an amazing experience and a chance of a lifetime. I have such wonderful memories and made some great friends. I've improved on my dancing ability due to my great partner Lou. I worked very hard and am proud of my accomplishments. I want to thank my family and friends who have voted for me and got the whole town of Truckee behind me. I love you all. I can't wait to share all my stories from Patty's Dancing with the Moms Adventures. Thank you everyone!

Monday: The Big Day

I had to be downstairs to meet the girls at 5 a.m. to go to ABC studios. Today is the day I have been waiting for -- to dance live on "Good Morning America." I was so excited, but a little nervous. I said to myself, "Just have fun and smile."

Well, Lou & I were first to dance. I had this "death drop" in the beginning of my routine that wasn't working out yesterday. My wrist is very bruised, and I thought, "How am I going to do this?" But I wanted to show off this great move that I was willing to try.

Wow -- it happened! The dance went very well and I actually stood up after the drop (thank goodness!) I loved it! We received all 8s by the judges. Good score, but tomorrow I want to do even better. Being on the set "live" was so awesome. My sister Katie was able to come out to NY to watch and join me on the set. It was great having a live audience. I had so much fun. The stage was glamorized for us Dancing Moms; just like for "Dancing With the Stars."

Well, I sure felt like a star today and loved every minute of it. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. We had 5 hours of practice today for the Swing tomorrow. I'm going to fall asleep sitting up if I don't get to bed right now.

Saturday: Day Off

A well-needed day of rest, but hard to relax when I'm in this exciting city of New York. The moms enjoyed each others' company for the day and went sightseeing. Of course, eating seems to be on our minds all the time. The morning started off with yummy quiches and great coffee drinks. We then ventured out to Greenwich Village, NYU, Union Square and did some shopping along the way. You know how us girls like to shop! We shopped for accessories for our dance dresses trying to incorporate the "bling" for the spotlight on national TV.

We rode the subway to Chinatown & Little Italy. By then, it was pouring rain, so there was traffic congestion and a sea of umbrellas from all the sightseers exploring the city. We ate excellent Chinese food featuring roasted duck, BBQ pork, shrimp fried rice, and curry chicken.Another wonderful day day in New York City. I'm enjoying every minute and will cherish these memories forever.

Friday: More Dance Practice

Another day at Dance Manhattan. I am learning so much more about body posture in the three different dances I am being taught. The Cha Cha, Swing & Salsa each bring a different character into the dance. You hold your head high and bring a sexy, sassy attitude into your style. You drop lower in the knees in the Swing style and have fun with it. And with the Salsa, it's time to party and get those hips moving.

I have such a passion for dancing and being taught by my professional dancer energizes me and gives me an eagerness to learn more. This experience has surpassed my expectations -- it's over the top! Just like I said before: Dancing makes me smile. It's like therapy to me. It's a WOW feeling. I love it!

Tonight the girls & I went out for Italian cuisine. Excellent restaurant. I'm eating too well these days. I think I better slow down or Lou won't be able to throw me around. We had a wonderful evening of talking, drinking wine and lots of laughing. Love those Moms!

Thursday Dance Training

We didn't have to meet the bus today until 9 a.m. which gave us a little time to sleep in, which is a good thing because I have a hard time going to sleep at night. With all the excitement going on, it's hard to settle down.

Lou & I practiced 7 hours today. I learned so much about dance history, different rhythms and plenty of new dance steps. It was very challenging but very rewarding at the same time. I feel I am stretching my learning curve and taking a risk by trying jumps, lifts and whatever else Lou wants to see if I am capable of doing.

At one point, I asked Lou if he remembered how old I was and his kind remark was: it doesn't matter because you are energetic and enthusiastic and you can at least try. He's great. I'm really having fun with him and we work very well together. No doubt, dancers work very hard. It always looks easier than you think. I'm loving the challenge and am looking forward to tomorrow when we will practice for another 7 hours.

Tonight the girls & I went out for Greek cuisine. We've been trying different ethnic foods every night. New York has it all! I'm going to put these sore feet & achy body to bed now.

Another day full of wonderful memories.

Wednesday in the Big Apple

What a very exciting day. First a trip to the Capezio store to be fitted for our dance shoes. We had the film crew following us around the store shopping and trying on shoes. There were a lot of "feet" shots, so all of us moms were pleased that our toenails were painted and our feet were looking pretty good; at least for now until our rigorous dance practice schedule.

We all left with three pairs of fancy footwear and headed for the dance studio in Manhattan to meet our dance partners. I met my guy, Lou, and felt instant chemistry. We are going to be a fantastic "dancing duo."

Our practice time together was challenging, but I am so ready for this wonderful opportunity to dance with my own professional dancer. I still can't believe this is all happening!

Bloomies, here come the Dancing Moms to pick out our dresses! There were so many beautiful dresses to choose from and such a hard decision to make. We were surprised when Lisa Rinna stepped into our dressing room to assist us in picking out the dresses. Another thrilling moment to add to my dream come true. The more "bling" the better, she suggested.

Watch us next week "live" to see these gorgeous dresses. I'm exhausted yet exhilarated at the same time so it's hard to rest. I'm having the time of my life.

Day 1 in the Big Apple

New York City look out! The Dancing Moms are in town. I'm feeling a slice of heaven right now.

When I went downstairs yesterday to board the bus to take me to the ABC studio, this was my first encounter meeting the other moms. It was as though I had already known them.

Awilda was the first mom I saw and we ran to each other and gave each other a big hug. It has been so wonderful meeting the other girls and getting to know them personally. I love them all!

Being in the spotlight at the ABC studio was fabulous. We were welcomed with open arms and treated like queens. We were sent to the make-up chairs and also got our hair done. Another big thrill was meeting the GMA team --Diane, Robin, Sam & Chri, all warm and friendly.

After our "live" introduction on national TV we were off to explore the Big Apple. It was so exciting and we had the time of our lives. The Dancing Moms seem to be bonding. We are all fun-loving moms and I am so thrilled to be sharing this chance of a lifetime with them.

I am looking forward to learning my dance routines and meeting my professional dancer.
