"Dreamgirl" Jennifer Hudson swung by the set of "GMA" on Sept. 29, 2008, to perform her hit-single "Spot Light" off her self-titled debut album. The Oscar-winner got her start on "American Idol," but it was her role in "Dreamgirls" that nabbed her a best supporting actress Oscar and propelled her into superstardom. Since then, the singer/actress has appeared in the "Sex and the City" movie and "The Secret Life of Bees." Her debut album, "Jennifer Hudson," has risen to No. 2 on the Billboard charts.
