Stargazers were treated to a full lunar eclipse early Tuesday morning. A lunar eclipse happens when the moon crosses into the shadow of the Earth. The moon became completely immersed for one hour and 30 minutes, a period of time much longer than most typical lunar eclipses, according to NASA. (Brian Karczewski/Spaceweather.com)
