Dec. 12, 2007 — -- Part of the holiday fun is unwrapping the presents friends and family have picked out for you. The scene was no different in the "Good Morning America" studio this morning as Diane, Robin, Chris and Sam swapped presents during their annual gift exchange.

This year each received a box of gifts from the other three anchors.

News anchor Chris Cuomo was the first to open his large red gift box. He opened it cautiously, saying he "wanted to make sure it wasn't a snake in a box."

The gang opted to get him cooking lessons.

"Not that I need them," he quipped.

"We know how much you love to cook," Diane Sawyer said. "You said once you wanted to make sauces."

The box also included aprons that read "Cuomo's Kitchen" for everyone in his family and an array of cooking utensils.

Weather anchor Sam Champion was next to open his present, and he jokingly shook the box just to make sure it didn't explode.

"There's goggles. There's an airplane. There's some kind of cap," he said as he went through the box. "Are you sending me some place?"

His question was soon answered when he learned he'd received flying lessons.

"Will you ride with me once I learn?" he asked his colleagues.

"No on will ride with you here," was Diane's lighthearted response.

Diane then received her presents from Sam, who was eager to reveal the reason behind the presents.

"Our Diane loves an emotional moment, and everybody knows it," he said.

So the staff came up with a list of sad songs and tear-jerker films to present to Diane, which they loaded on an iPod for her.

"I like sad songs, and I like to jog to really heartbreaking songs. It cheers me up every morning," she said.

"We do have something else coming for you in the new year," Robin Roberts said.

Finally, Robin was the last person to open her gift. She gave a sarcastic response when she opened her box to find a picture of her dressing room.

"Oh, it's a picture, thank you," she joked.
