Dawn Brancheau, an experienced whale trainer at SeaWorld Adventure Park, shown performing Dec. 30, 2005, was killed in an accident with a killer whale at the SeaWorld Shamu Stadium in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 24, 2010. A SeaWorld official said that the whale pulled Brancheau, 40, into the water, contradicting earlier police reports that said she either slipped or fell into a tank holding the killer whale.
