Call From Spears' Psychiatrist Prompted the Incident
Troubled pop star Britney Spears was rushed to a hospital in the middle of night, escorted by a small army of police on motorcycles, cruisers and helicopters.
The huge convoy pulled away from a side entrance to Spears' Studio City, Calif., home about 1 a.m. and headed to the UCLA Medical Center.
