"Good Morning America" kicked off a new series today called "A Week Without."

In the spirit of a new year -- a time of making resolutions and kicking addictive habits -- we asked "GMA" viewers to tell us about the soft addictions in their lives that they'd be hard-pressed to live without.

A number of our female viewers said they would find it difficult to go without makeup for a week. Believe it or not, it's called glamour addiction.

A self-help educator and author joined "GMA" to talk about how to break these soft addictions.
