Credit for the idea to combine forces for a seven-week tour go to Jewel and Rob Thomas.
"We actually got to write together for five days, and it went great," Jewel said.
The tour started on May 23 and features songs from Jewel's sixth album, "Goodbye Alice in Wonderland, " and Thomas's first solo project, "Something to Be."
