Sara Evans Rules 'GMA'

Oct. 12, 2005 — -- Sara Evans' 2003 album, "Restless," went platinum and now her new CD has managed to surpass her previous success. "Real Fine Place" debuted at No. 1 on the Country Music charts and earned Evans a nomination for Female Vocal Artist of the Year at this year's Country Music Awards.

Evans performed songs from "Real Fine Place" for "Good Morning America" today. The Mississippi native also donated to "GMA's" celebrity auction which will raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Evans is the third of seven children and was singing in the family band by the time she was five. The family was a big part of latest CD with brother Matt, two sister, mother and father all contributing to the vocals.

Evans has three young children with fellow musician Craig Schelske who is one of seven children himself.

This talented mother was named to People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people list. She will perform at the Country Music Awards next month.
