Aug. 22, 2007 — -- Autumn is fast approaching and as the last days of summer wane, it's time to think about transitioning the summer wardrobe into fall fashion.

And you can do it with just a few key items, fashion experts say.

One item with a lot of versatility is the jacket, say Jayne Chase and Jennifer Goodkind, "Good Morning America" contributors and hosts of the syndicated radio show "A Fashionable Life."

Other fashion trends this fall include anything gray, a dash of purple, and the chunky, textured handbag.
