Hilary Duff Performs on 'GMA'

N E W &nbsp Y O R K, July 16, 2004 -- Hilary Duff performed live on "Good Morning America" as part of the morning show's summer concert series.

Duff, whose new movie A Cinderella Story premieres Friday, performed her hit songs "Come Clean" and "So Yesterday" from her album, "Metamorphosis."

She also performed "Our Lips Are Sealed" off "A Cinderella Story" movie soundtrack with her sister Haylie Duff.

The blond, petite 16-year-old rose to fame as the title character in the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire (Disney is the parent company of ABC). She also starred in a big screen version The Lizzie McGuire Movie in 2003.

Outside of playing Lizzie, Duff appeared in Agent Cody Banks (2003) and Cheaper by the Dozen (2004).

In "A Cinderella Story," Duff plays a modern day Cinderella named Sam Montgomery. She lives with her evil stepmother and ugly sisters in SanFernando Valley. Sam forced to work in her late father's diner without any help from her evil stepmother Fiona, played by JenniferCoolidge of American Pie fame. When Same meets her "prince" Austin Ames, played by 22-year-old teen heartthrob Chad Michael Murray of TV's Dawson's Creek.

Duff also appeared on "Good Morning America" Thursday to surprise the winner of the show's Cinderella for a Day Contest.

The winner, Anna Summerford, was surprised and moved when she discovered the big news.

Her twin sister Laura and her mother Lisa had entered Anna in the contest without her knowledge.
