Entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or suspend the contest. If canceled, Sponsor reserves the right at its discretion to determine the winner using all non-suspect eligible entries received up to the time of cancellation. Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial, delayed or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind in connection with entries or the entry process, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software.

IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED: Representatives of Sponsor will contact Entrants for a brief phone interview. Entrants will be judged based on potential for on-air appeal; energetic expression; and excitement about participation. Up to 30 Teams (Entrants and their Partners) will be selected to attend the live show as outlined in the Eligibility section. ONLY confirmed, pre-registered Teams will be eligible to receive a gift card and compete for the Grand Prize. All selected Teams will compete in a skill based challenge to win the Grand Prize. In the event of a tie, the tied participants will be asked to answer one or more trivia questions or participate in one or more guessing contests until one Grand Prize Winner is determined. If Grand Prize winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with contest procedures, or is not available to claim Grand Prize as outlined the prize will be awarded to the runner-up. Grand Prize Winner will be announced on air and/or posted on the show’s website. Final determination of winners is always conditional on verification of eligibility and compliance with all rules and procedures.

Good Morning America and Toys R’ Us may book in advance some audience members to be in attendance at the Toys R’ Us event. If a potential entrant agrees to be booked in advance as an audience member, that booked audience member and his or her accompanying guest are no longer eligible to enter this contest.

The total value of all items collected during the shopping spree cannot exceed $1,300. In the event that the Partner collects items valued in excess of $1,300 the Team will be given the opportunity to select those items from all items collected that they wish to keep so that the total value of all items to be awarded does not exceed $1,300. If the actual value of the items collected during the shopping spree is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded.
