  • Where Are Charlie's Angels Now?

    They're baaack! "Charlie's Angels," the franchise that gained cult status when it aired from 1976 to 1981 had big box office success in 2000 and 2003, but it's heading back to the small screen. Starring Minka Kelly (as Eve French), Annie Ilonzeh (as Kate Prince) and Rachel Taylor (as Abby Sampson), the series premieres Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011. Ramon Rodriguez will play John Bosley.

  • Charlie's Angels WATN

    Following Farrah Fawcett's departure from "Charlie's Angels" in 1977, Cheryl Ladd played Kris Munroe, the little sister of Fawcett's character, until 1981. Most recently fans saw Ladd on the hit TV show "Las Vegas" where she played the wife of James Caan.

    Jaclyn Smith was one of the original trio of Angels. She played Kelly Garrett until the show's end in 1981, when she went on to star in a string of television movies. In 2007 and 2008 Smith hosted the first two seasons of "Shear Genius."

    Perhaps the most famous angel was Jill Munroe, played by Farrah Fawcett. The Emmy-nominated actress with her iconic feathered hairstyle had a reoccurring role in "Charlie's Angels" until 1980. Afterwards she moved on to roles such as Francine Hughes in "The Burning Bed." Fawcett turned the camera on herself in 2009 when she documented her battle with cancer. Fawcett lost that battle in June 2009 at the age of 62.

    David Doyle starred as detective John Bosley, otherwise known as "Boz." Doyle was nominated for a 1977 Emmy award for his role as Bosley, who was the liaison between Charlie and his angelic female detectives. Doyle was also know for his role in the Nickolodeon cartoon "Rugrats" as the voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles. He died in 1997 at the age of 67 from a heart attack.

    Kate Jackson was the first Angel to be cast in the show. She starred as Sabrina Duncan from 1976 to 1979. Jackson starred in a number of television movies as well as in a cameo appearance in "Ally McBeal" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."

    Although "Charlie's Angels" fans won't recognize his face from the show, they do recognize his voice. John Forsythe was the voice of Charles Townsend, or Charlie, on the hit television series. Forsythe, who also starred in "Dynasty," returned to the roll of Charlie for the 2003 movie "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. Forsythe died in April 2010 at the age of 92.

    Former model Shelley Hack played Tiffany Welles in "Charlie's Angels" after Kate Jackson left the show in 1979. But Hack only lasted one season. Afterwards she made appearances on shows such as "The Love Boat" and "L.A. Law."
