In 1999's "Any Given Sunday," directed by Oliver Stone, Pacino starred as a work-obsessed football coach opposite Cameron Diaz, plays the team owner's daughter, who inherits the team from her father. A number of pro football players and former coaches made cameo appearances in the film.
