Bikers of Rescue Ink

A group of brawny bikers formed Rescue Ink in 2008 to save animals in danger. The new book "Rescue Ink: How Ten Guys Saved Countless Dogs and Cats, Twelve Horses, Five Pigs, One Duck, and a Few Turtles," by Rescue Ink with Denise Flaim, chronicles the bikers' efforts.

The new reality TV show "Rescue Ink Unleashed" stars the all-volunteer group and premieres on the National Geographic Channel Sept. 25, 2009.
