How to make almond crunch for Passover
A step-by-step guide to make a flourless Passover sweet
In celebration of the Jewish holiday of Passover, "GMA" visited Breads Bakery in New York City and learned how to make their recipe for almond crunch. Watch the video for a step-by-step demonstration and get the recipe below.
Whisk egg whites and powdered sugar until combined.
Fold in sliced almonds.
With wet hands, place small mounds on sheet pans, only with egg white enough to stick the nuts together, no excess - add more nuts as needed.
Bake 270 degrees for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
