Erin Chase's Grilled Garlic Bread
A Quick and Easy Side Dish
As the weather gets warmer and we spend more leisure time outside in the afternoons, we often find ourselves preparing dinner on the grill. Cooking up meat and veggies over hot coals is pretty intuitive, but what about rounding out the meal with some garlic bread…that's also cooked on the grill. One meal, all from the grill. It's almost too simple!

Ingredients
Cooking Directions
In a small mixing bowl, mash together the softened butter, garlic salt and Parmesan cheese. Spread onto the insides of the bread.
Method #1 - Directly on the Grill
Place the buttered bread, butter side down, directly onto the grill grates in an area of "indirect heat," or not directly over the flames. The edge of the grill or a top rack work best. Let grill for 5-7 minutes, or until warmed and slightly crispy on the grill side. Cooking time will depend on temperature of the grill.
Method #2 - Wrapped in Foil
Wrap the buttered bread in foil, as you would to cook it in the oven. Place it on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through. Cooking time will depend on temperature of the grill.
