'GMA' Super Snack Showdown: Armani Williams' Fired Up Honey BBQ Wings
Try This Game Day Treat!
The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will face off on the field in Houston at Super Bowl LI. "GMA" viewer Armani Williams appeared on "Good Morning America" to share a delicious game day dish to try on Super Bowl Sunday!
If baking the wings, season with seasoned salt and black pepper and bake at 450 degrees for an hour.
If frying the wings, season with seasoned salt and black pepper, coat with flour, and fry in canola oil until golden brown and crispy, approximately 7 minutes per side over medium heat.
While the chicken is cooking, make your sauce.
In medium sized sauce pan, saute the butter, onions, and garlic until translucent. Add each ingredient one by one and let it simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, covered with a lid.
If you have fried your chicken, let it drain on paper towels. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
Place chicken in baking dish, cover it with sauce, and let sauce bake onto chicken for about 15 minutes uncovered.
If you have baked your chicken, remove it from the oven and cover it with the sauce and let it bake into chicken for 15 minutes uncovered at 450 degrees.
Then you will have Armani's showstopping party wings!
