French's Crispy Holiday Stuffing

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
  • 1 ½ cups coarsely chopped celery
  • 1 ½ cups coarsely chopped carrots
  • 1 package (14 ounce) Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing
  • 2 cups French's French Fried Onions
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce) Swanson Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup water
  • Cooking Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 3-quart baking dish; set aside. Melt butter in large pot; stir in vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes.

    Add stuffing to pot and pour broth and water over mixture; stir until moistened. Add 1 cup of French Fried Onions and gently mix together. spoon stuffing into baking dish.

    Cover; bake for 10 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining 1 cup onions. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden.
