Roasted Corn on the Cob with Shallot, Tarragon, and Chive Butter

This recipe is simple, but the payoff is great when the corn is fresh and in season, and is roasted and hot from the oven.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the corn in the hot oven directly on the oven shelf. Roast for 1 hour. Shuck the corn and roll the butter on the hot corn.
