'GMA' Cookie Search: Ultimate Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Viewer Shares Her Classic Holiday Cookie Recipe
Viewer Kelly Haas adapted her grandfather's original chocolate chip cookie recipe and added mini candy bars for a "personal touch," she told "GMA." Now it's her tradition.
In a bowl mix 3 cup flour, powder and salt together and set aside.
In a bowl lightly beat 2 eggs and vanilla beans and cinnamon.
In a bowl toss chocolate chunks and 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar.
In a standing mixer beat butter until it creams. Add sugar until it dissolves into butter.
Mix egg mixture into butter and sugar. Gradually add in flour mixture.
Stop standing mixer and fold in chocolate mix with a rubber spatula.
Divide into twenty lumps molded around a candy bar piece!
Preheat oven to 375 and bake 15-20 minute.
Do not over bake. They should be gooey in the middle when taken out and will continue to cook as the cool.
Best served warm!
