Try This Easy Sugar Cookie Recipe With Your Kids
This recipe is great to make with your kids at home for the holidays. The cookies taste delcious and are easy to prepare. Decorate them with your favorite icing and sprinkles!

Read It! (Read your recipe all the way through before you begin!)
Place It! (Get everything out and ready to cook!)
Create It! (Time to cook!)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously coat cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mixing well.
Using 1/2 tablespoon of the dough for each cookie, gently roll into a ball and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool. Makes about 5 dozen vanilla wafers.
