Chili Lime Crab Cakes
Maryland's Culinary Claim to Fame
Maryland has been called the "capital of crab." In fact, the blue crab is one of Maryland's state symbols.
Mark Laubner, the Corporate Executive Chef for Phillips Restaurants, shared the following recipe for his Chili Lime Crab Cakes with Good Morning America during its Maryland show, which is part of ABCNEWS' 50 States — One Nation — One Year project.

Cooking Directions
Combine all of the ingredients at one time in a large mixing bowl. With your hands, form the mixed ingredients into crab cakes — size them as you prefer.
Sauté the cakes in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil on both sides until they are golden brown.
