Emeril's Cornbread With Bacon and Green Onion Dressing
Use This Recipe for Emeril's Dressing
Use this cornbread recipe for Emeril's bacon and green onion cornbread dressing or serve this with a meal.
Preheat the oven to 450Â°F.
Butter a 9x9 square metal baking pan with the softened butter.
In a medium size mixing bowl combine the cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, eggs, and oil. Add the yogurt mixture to the cornmeal mixture and whisk to combine thoroughly. Pour into the prepared pan and bake 25 minutes until golden brown on top. Set aside to cool.
If you're including in Emeril's cornbread dressing, using your fingers, coarsely crumble the cornmeal. There should be about 8 cups. Otherwise slice and serve.
