Local Farm-Fresh, Organic Ingredients Make This Burger Delicious
One of the four finalists in the Best Food Cart Challenge held by "Good Morning America Weekend," Local 647 is reinventing the concept of street food. Husband-and-wife owners Derek and Amanda Luhowiak source all the ingredients locally, some from their own garden, and cook everything to order in their tiny stainless-steel kitchen.
Their half-pound of juicy, organic grass-fed beef is topped fresh onions, melted cheese with house-made ketchup, mayo and mustard. Get some napkins cause things can get a little messy and dive in headfirst because it's a might tasty burger!

Preheat outdoor grill or cast iron skillet on stove on medium high heat. Hand form patty, season generously with salt and pepper, grill to your liking. (Local 647 prefers medium rare to medium for grass-fed beef.) Melt cheese, toast bun and slather on the condiments. Get some napkins 'cause things can get a little messy, and dive in headfirst because that's a might tasty burger.
