Largest Passenger Ships Oasis of the Seas
Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest and newest cruise ship, arrives off the Florida coast, headed for its home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Nov. 13, 2009. The 16-deck ship, constructed in Finland, is owned by Royal Caribbean International. Weighing 225,282 tons, the vessel holds 2,700 staterooms. It comes with seven theme areas, including Central Park, Boardwalk, Entertainment Place, the Pool and Sports Zone, Youth Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center and the Royal Promenade.
