Diane Sawyer Does McDonalds Job Swap

N E W   Y O R K, Sept. 12 -- Diane Sawyer put her anchor duties aside for part of Good Morning America Friday so she could fill in at a Times Square McDonald's.

Sawyer swapped jobs with the usual McDonald's manager, Maria Alvarez-Zion.

While Sawyer made sure the burgers were being grilled in a timely fashion at McDonald's, Alvarez-Zion prepared to interview ABCNEWS' Barbara Walters.
