— -- Time is marching on - that mischievous bundle of energy, Dennis The Menace is turning 50.

To celebrate the occasion, on Monday, March 12, ABCNEWS' Good Morning America is inviting parents to bring their own impish, tow headed Dennis The Menace lookalikes to the Good Morning America Times Square Studio, located at 44th Street and Broadway.

50 years ago, on March 12, 1951, Dennis Mitchell, whose antics with the cranky Mr. Wilson led to the moniker Dennis The Menace, was born in 16 papers across the nation. To commemorate that anniversary, the cartoon?s creator, Hank Ketcham sat down with Good Morning America for an in-depth interview. As he looks back on his 50 year career, Ketcham recounts memories of good friends Charles Schultz and Walter Matthau, who portrayed Mr. Wilson in 1993 film of the famed comic strip.

Parents and children should arrive at 6:15 a.m. at the Good Morning America Times Square Studio Audience Entrance, located at 44th Street and Broadway (on the east side of Broadway). For more information on where to bring your Dennis The Menace lookalike, please call: (212) 580-5176.
