1: Traveling to New Places

Sam's first favorite thing involves people, places and things. Growing up as a marine brat, Sam learned to love seeing new things and meeting new people. Every year or so, he moved to different bases, living in Kentucky, North Carolina and Rhode Island. Sam's now a self-proclaimed wanderlust. From the Eiffel Tower to the islands of the Caribbean, he's traveled all over the United States, South America and Europe. Sam's next stop? Hopefully, Africa.

2 and 3: Cars Without Roofs and Lots of Sun

Sam didn't plan it this way, but his second and third favorite things are tied together. He loves cars without roofs -- in his perfect world, every car would be a convertible. Why? Because Sam also loves basking in the sun, especially behind the wheel.

4: The Beach

With sun as one of his favorite things, it's not surprising that Sam also loves the beach. But any old beach won't do -- Sam's favorite in Miami, Fla., has a wide stretch of white sand, water that's warm almost every month of the year, and plenty of nearby places to eat, relax and sleep.

5: Chocolate
