2008 MORE's Reinventing the F-word Contest

— -- Contest begins June 24, 2008 and ends September 30, 2008. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m., E.T., on August 18, 2008. Entries become the property of Meredith Corporation, 1716 Locust St., Des Moines, IA and American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., 77 West 66th Street, New York, New York 10023 ("Sponsors") and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entrants must have Internet access and photo uploading capabilities prior to June 24, 2008 to enter.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ENTER: 1 For a photo entry, visit www.more.com/fword and click on the link to enter the Contest. Complete the registration form, then follow the links and instructions to upload a photo (must be taken on or after June 24, 2008) of yourself illustrating your favorite F-word as well as a caption of 30 words or less about why you chose that word. 2 For a video entry, go to www.abcnews.com/moreword and follow the links and instructions to upload a 60-second video of yourself illustrating your favorite F-word. One photo and caption or video per entry.

Photos must be .jpeg or .bmp image formats and cannot exceed 3 MB. Videos must be Quicktime MOV, WMV, MPG or AVI formats and cannot exceed 30 MB. Photos and videos must be original, non-professional, unpublished and may not have won any prize or award.

Any materials that may be considered offensive may be eliminated from further consideration at the Sponsors' sole discretion.

By submitting entry materials, entrants certify that such materials are original and created by entrant, that entrants have the necessary rights, permission and authority to submit such materials, and, if applicable, that entrants maintain a valid copyright in the materials. Entrants acknowledge that such materials may be included and/or discussed in a broadcast or otherwise, that such discussion may include statements or opinions by the broadcast talent or others about the entrants, the entrants' appearances and/or the materials, and that those statements and opinions may be considered surprising, humiliating, embarrassing, derogatory, defamatory or otherwise offensive or injurious to them, Sponsors' employees, its studio or at-home audience and/or other third parties. Entrants release Meredith Corporation, American Broadcasting Companies, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any actions, claims, injury, loss or damage allegedly caused, directly or indirectly, by any such statements or opinions made during a broadcast.

Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide, in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsors are not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsors' sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
