July 20, 2005 -- -- They are designers, fashionistas and, of course, two of the greatest tennis players of all time. As of tonight, Venus and Serena Williams will also be reality stars when their new show, "Venus & Serena: For Real," debuts on ABC Family at 10 p.m.

The show follows the sisters over six weeks last year starting with the Australian Open and ending with the Italian Open. In the series, the sisters play together, train together and live together in a pink, Spanish-style home in West Palm Beach, Fla., giving viewers a glimpse of elite athletes, as well as young women struggling to define themselves.

"You get to see a whole new side of us," Serena Williams said.

Venus, 25, who is the ninth-ranked tennis player in the world, is portrayed as the more dedicated and sensitive sister, while Serena, 24, comes off as the more lighthearted of the two. Serena is currently ranked sixth.

There is no footage of Venus' historic triumph at the 2005 Wimbledon Championships in which she became the lowest-seeded player to win the event in the longest Wimbledon final match in history. Venus was also the first player since 1935 to save championship point and win, finally beating Lindsay Davenport 4-6, 7-6, 9-7.

But the bitter rivalry is set up in the series when Davenport crushes Venus at the Bausch & Lomb Championships.

Serena said that after she was eliminated in the third round of this year's Wimbledon, she wanted her sister to win "more than anything in the world."

The show follows the sisters as they pursue careers outside the court, Venus with her interior design firm, V-Starr, and Serena with her fashion line, Aneres, which is still in the planning stages.

The show gets personal when one of the sisters works through an "intense" breakup.

Viewers will also get a feel for the family support that fuels the Williams' machine. Mom Oracene Price is their coach, dad Richard Williams is a driving force and older sister Isha, a lawyer, is their business manager.
