A gathering in north carolina last night, to celebrate billy graham. The nation's most famous evangelist, turning 95. Hundreds came on out. Big names were there, as well. It's always, the reverend with a serious message, delivering what's being called his final sermon. Abc's dan harris has the story for us. Reporter: There he was, the legendary preacher, billy graham, in north carolina thursday night. In attendance, hundreds, including rick warren, sarah palin, rupert murdoch and donnell trump. There were speeches and a rendition of "happy birthday." ♪ To you ♪ Reporter: And the preacher himself releasing a video billed as his final sermon, in which, despite his age, he is as urgent and as direct as ever. Our country's in great need of a spiritual awakening. There have been times that I've wept as I've gone from city-to-city. And I've seen how far people have wandered from god. Reporter: The video was shot over the past year in billy graham's mountaintop home in north carolina. With his dog by his side, and images of his long, storied career, up on the shelf. He ministered to presidents, everyone since truman, to huge crowds around the world, and to americans right in their living rooms. According to his son, billy graham has, for the past three years, wanted to preach one more time. And for a while, he thought that maybe he would be able to do this in a stadium. But he realized that he didn't have the strength. But he did it from his living room. Reporter: And so, there in his living room, on this last sermon, billy graham, once again, lowers his head, in prayer. I want to trust and follow you, as my lord and savior. In jesus' name, amen.
