Transcript for Burglar Caught on Tape Creeping in Baby's Room
We turn to the disturbing surveillance video out of Houston, where a man broke into a home and prowled around the baby's room. Police trying to find the burglar. And Ryan Owens with the story. Reporter: It's enough to give any parent goosebumps. A burglar snooping around your baby's room, while you sleep. Look closer at the home surveillance video. The guy even shines his flashlight right at the little boy in the crib, before he moves on to other rooms in the house. When I looked at the cameras, I was infuriated, saw him walking back and forth in my baby's room. And I was really upset. Reporter: Lee believes the burglar claim climbed in an unlocked window in Houston. But they think that flashlight made his son open his eyes. He woke up. My boy thought it was me. And he went back to sleep. Reporter: The family didn't even know they had been ripped off until a neighbor found their laptop and briefcase in the yard the next morning. Then, they discovered someone took $60 cash out of a wallet. The prices of video cameras have come down. Everyone can accord to have it. It gives us a tool to use. Reporter: This morning, detectives are looking for the burglar who they believe is a kid himself, between 16 and 18 years old. This family is just thankful he didn't touch their most prized possession. Really fortunate that nothing happened to him. Reporter: For "Good morning America," Ryan Owens, ABC news, Dallas.
