Transcript for California slammed by wildfires in 2017
You had the napa fires two months ago. Now this. Tough for California. Not just fires burning right now, but rob mentioned how dry it's been around Los Angeles. San Diego could have their driest 2 1/2-month period in nearly a century. So that's why we see some of these red flag warnings and high wind warnings stretching all the way to the Mexican border. Just because you don't have a fire yet doesn't mean one doesn't start today and go nuts because the gusts and the warnings here are for up to 80-mile-per-hour gusts. That's tonight through early tomorrow. We could see another huge push with Santa Ana winds, that high pressure system shoving those winds offshore and we're really not going to see this change until late tomorrow through Friday. Guys. All right, ginger, I know you keep an eye on it as well.
