With the woman who would not give up until she got her man. Reporter: She was tenacious. The alleged thief underestimated the vic testimony. She used her cell phone and teenage ingenuity to fight back. You know, you still don't mess with me and my stuff. I will hunt you down. Reporter: She is only 19 years old. But monica has put those fiery words into action after she says a stranger pointed a gun at her in an apartment stairwell. She says he took her purse, her car cease and much more. My car was there. I turned my back and my car was gone. Reporter: This victim wasn't going to let her suspect or the car disappear for good. Her secret weapon, her cell phone, which he was carrying. He made a call, stayed on the phone. I went online. I called everyone. Everyone, even if they hung up. Reporter: One, by, one, she called the numbers he had dialed on the phone. Until one person on the other end told her where the suspect was. Using that information to track down her car at a gas station, called police and joined authorities in pursuing the driver. I was speeding, running red lights with them. I wasn't going to stop. I had him. Reporter: The car eventually crashed into a pole. And police took two suspects into custody. Later, investigators discovered two instagram photos of the suspect posing on the car with a gun. Same clothes, same car, on instagram. Reporter: A newly-minted crime fighter not happy about her damaged car. And not quite done with the suspects. I'm going to testify against them. I'm going to do everything I can to put them in prison. Reporter: And those suspects face aggravated robbery and evading arrest charges. The instagram pictures, by the way, could be used if the case goes to trial. Those photos are something else. I know. What were they thinking, right? I know. Let's get some evidence.
