There's a growing backlash against the owner of a diner in Maine refusing to apologize for yelling at a crying 2-year-old sparking millions of comments on social media. ABC's Reena ninan has that story. Reporter: Breakfast battle pitting parents of a crying baby against a Portland, Maine, diner owner who had enough. I turned around, slammed both hands on the counter then pointed at the child and said, this has got to stop. Reporter: Saturday morning macyy's diner's own Darla Neugebauer was completely fed up with this toddler when she felt the parents weren't doing enough. The mother screamed at me because I was yelling at her child. You know what, lady, you should have taken the kid outside. Reporter: Carson says it was raining and that Neugebauer had no right to yell at her child. Taking to Facebook calling the owner an absolute lunatic continuing to post who in their right mind would behave like this unless you are deranged. You have a problem with a child crying then you are not suitable to run a business. Over 2.5 million have commented and shared that post. Many further outraged at Neugebauer's initial profanity-laced response on Facebook. I ask you to pack up your rotten child or take the so important pancakes to go. But no you just there and let your expletive screaming kid go. I think maybe mom and dad could have taken the kid out and nipped it in the bud. I had had enough. Reporter: For "Good morning America," Reena ninan, New York.
