pop stars on the planet. And his battle with paparazzi. One direction's harry styles has won a court record, stopping a group of photographers from harassing him. Llama harassen has the story. ♪ The story of my life ♪ Reporter: For the handsome 19-year-old one direction star, this is a story of his life. Harry? This way. Harry, what's up? Reporter: Harry styles can say bye-bye to the past, after a court order banning the pesky paparazzi from pursuing the teen idol. It prevents unnamed photographers from harassing the singer by car or motorbike, loitering within 55 yards of his home otaking photos of him in such circumstances. The paparazzi have a price on your head. And you're hunted down like an animal. It's literally oppressive. And I don't blame harry for wanting to stop the harassment. Reporter: For months, styles had been desperately fighting the photographers. They snapped his every move. Stopping at nothing. They wouldn't give him any space. They wouldn't give him any privacy. And I really think going to court is not what he wanted to do. But it's what he had to do. Reporter: Fear not, one direction fans. The injunction will not get in the way of the floppy-haired selfies. He wants to be clear he's not disrespecting the fans. He's only looking for a little bit of privacy in a very aggressive world. Reporter: On january 13th, there will be a further hearing to decide exactly how the action should proceed. But for now -- ♪ while we're young ♪ Reporter: The teen star can live paparazzi-free. Just to be clear, this court order only applies to a group of unnamed photographers in prison. Not photographers in the u.S. And it certainly doesn't apply to harry's army of fans. They can still approach him in the streets and take photos of him. Lara and george, no issues for us. And he seems to enjoy that. You could never get an order like that here in the united states. Thank you.
