With labor day fast approaching, summer is just about over. But for last-minute extreme thrills you can't beat, dol dollywood's newest attraction, the wild eagle rollercoaster, cameron mathison braved the tracks for us. Summer isn't complete without riding a rollercoaster. And I got a chance to. There's tall. Fast. Upside down. And inside-out. No matter how you view it, when it comes to rollercoasters, the excitement is epic. But dollywood's wild eagle is giving you a whole, new view, if you dare to keep your eyes open. It's the newest and most extreme coaster in at dollywood in pr pigeon forge, tennessee. It feels like you're about to drop off the edge. Reporter: On this rollercoaster, you ride next to the track, not on top of it. Your seat, dangling over the 30-foot span of enormous eagle wings. To grasp the shuddering heights, I went above the ride. It is intense. 21 stories below, this wing coaster rockets through 3,000 feet of amazing vistas of the great smokey mountains, at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. We wanted to use the tallest point in dollywood so you could soar like an eagle. And you do a lot of things that you maybe haven't done before. But you don't have to be a fighter pilot. Reporter: I'm definitely no fighter pilot. So, I invited rollercoaster critic extraordinaire, matthew lambert, to be my partner. You'll go up several times. You'll have air time. You'll come out of your seat a little bit. Reporter: Air time? Like I'll feel like I'm weightless? Yeah. Reporter: Ready to hear me cry like a girl? Let's go on. Let's do it. Reporter: I use the slow climb to the top to brace mist, as we crest the hill at 220 feet high. And I start to understand what dolly had been singing about. ♪ Reporter: Just as we were savoring that amazing tennessee landscape, we got taken lower and lower. Plummeting 135 feet straight down. From there, the aeagle part of the wild eagle really soared in. And we went through breathtaking twists and turns and flips, with nothing but the magnificent view in front of us. You know what? I didn't scream like a little girl. I thought you took it like a man. That's very impressive. Don't worry. If you're not into crazy rollercoasters, dollywood has a lot to offer.
