To that fast-moving wildfire targeting yosemite national park. It destroyed more than a dozen homes and Brandi Hitt is on the front lines. Reporter: This morning hot shot crews on the front lines are using chain saws to get ahead of fast-moving flames pushing into yosemite national park. We're actually on the fire's edge right here. Once we start pushing up the hill it gets pretty steep. Reporter: That steep terrain loaded with thick, dry brush helping fires chew through the edge of this world famous park. We're in the third year of a drought. This is the driest year on record in yosemite national park. Reporter: This woman's home destroyed. Thank you all for risking your lives. Reporter: Another 100 remain evacuated and visitors traveling the world to be here saying they're disappointed. All of the smoke relationship the flames of another fire 100 miles away east of Sacramento, California, seen here in video captured by a drone which nearly caused even more problems. Almost getting in the way of fire-fighting planes. 13 homes leveled there so far. Everything burned. The house, the contents of the house, the barn. Everything. Reporter: Some of the 1200 people evacuated returning to see the damage as firefighters working in severe here and bone-dry conditions keep a close eye on the sky for possible storms and dangerous lightning. The other big issue is air quality. Firefighters say they're happy there haven't been strong winds but that also means smoke is settling in yosemite which park offs say could impact hikers with respiratory problems. That could be dangerous. Thanks very much.
