Get this, the driver walked away. And abc's john muller has his incredible story. Reporter: It seems impossible to believe, hobby driver mike stoffet could have survived the flames engulfing his race car. He was in a race a week ago, when he lost control on a kurn. Watch as fuel immediately starts pouring out of his overturned car. Pooling underneath him. He's trapped and streaming for help. Rescuers lift the car. And suddenly, a fireball. And stofflet is still inside. The fire completely engulfs the car. When it caught fire, I got to get out. I have a family at home. I don't want to die here today. Reporter: Then, the lens goes white, as rescuers put out the fire. I lost myself in the flame. And I felt somebody's arm come and grab me. He put me on the ground. Helped me walk away from it. Reporter: Incredibly, he's able to walk away uninjured. Not only that, but he managed to get back in the same car, just 30 minutes later, to finish the next race, coming in fifth place. It was actually a win to us, even though we didn't win the race. I'm glad that we got back on the track. I'm glad I got the fear out of myself. Reporter: For "good morning america," john muller, abc news, new york. Unbelievable. Incredible, he got back in the car.
