And now to a quick-thinking girl who used Facebook to save her father's life when no phones were working. She pleaded for help in a message when a tree crashed down on them in a storm. Gio Benitez is here. Good morning. The 10-year-old girl and her social network was her father's lifelo lifelong. Quickly leading to the hour-long rescue after daddy's little girl posted this. My dad -- oh, he needs an ambulance, please. Reporter: This morning a father is alive all because of this little girl's frantic plea to help him. My dad needs help. I had to post that. Reporter: 10-year-old Brianna Vance turning to Facebook after a storm tore through on Tuesday, her dad and two friends were sitting on the front porch when a massive tree came down on top of them. It knocked out cell phone signals, and no land line, but Brianna was able to get online and post the plea for help. The lightning crashed and hit a tree, and my dad's almost dead. He needs an ambulance, please. Please, get one for us if you have signal. We live in the yellow house. Reporter: Someone watched the plea and called 911. Brianna, online, rolling as she hears rescuers online. That issued real hero. That little girl. I hope she gets recognized for her heroism. Reporter: The men were saved just in time. He was complaining of head, neck, and back injuries, having trouble breathing. Reporter: Rushed to the hospital. All three men were released, and the little girl who has the bright idea has a father's day message for her dad. I hope you get well soon, you're the best dad. Reporter: He has broken gone bones, but he will be okay. I love you, dad, and I'm so happy you are home and happy to be your helper. What a helper.
