That tornado threat stays with us throughout the morning. Robin? Thank you. Let's get to plaquemines parish president, billy no nungesser. Billy, tell us about the conditions in that area? The water came up so quickly. They are stranded at this time. One of the residents that's probably several thousand feet from them, is taking a boat and attempting to rescue them. We've got a report of a woman on a roof. The rain and wind are blowing so hard, you can't see fivet in front of your face. I know it's hard work. And you don't know until day break what exactly you're dealing with. And the conditions as they still are. Do you have any idea, billy, how the other levees are holding up around the city? Well, the ones that are in protection, I hear no reports from anywhere. And right here in belle chasse, we are in the federal system. That's why we were able to evacuate and open a shelter. And hundreds of people took our warning and got out and came to the shelter here. And we think more people came this time because of the protection in belle chasse, we didn't have to bus them out of harm's way. I know you were thinking of others, billy. And you personally suffered some property loss. What exactly happened at your home? I have a four by four hole in my roof. Several pieces of roof in my front yard. The back wall of my house moved a couple feet. And with each gust of wind, it's like you're breathing in and out. I shot that. We rode out katrina. I think my house is going to have more damage from this storm than katrina. This is not a category 1. This storm has been relentless. And the wind and rain has not given up, has not slowed up in this parish, for not a minute since this whole thing started. Billy, please know we're thinking of you and all those being affected right now by hurricane isaac. You stay safe. Just know we're thinking of you. Take care. Thank you so much.
