Have grown more willing to stage an attack here on American soil ABC's Martha Raddatz joins us now from Washington to explain this new concern good morning to you more. Good morning -- the disturbing warning came from America's top intelligence official James clapper testifying on Capitol Hill. We know Iran has threatened US ships threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz. And threatened Israel but this new -- is bracing. Director clapper said that Iran has crossed a threshold and is prepared to launch terrorist attacks inside the United States. Iran has already been implicated in what was said to be a plot. To assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the US last year. Clapper -- that plot quote shows that some -- -- and officials have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack. In the United States in response to Rio. Or perceived US actions that threaten the regime. This of course comes as the US is increasing pressure on Iran. To halt its nuclear program director clapper said there's no indication of an active plot now to attacking US.
