Iran claims that a shot down a super secret US drone that have flown across its borders. And it is threatening to retaliate but if it's true the bigger threat could come from what secrets the drone might reveal. ABC's Martha -- -- live with the latest on that so what's the deal here -- Well Robin this morning still no images coming out of Iran that would prove they have a US -- But US officials admit that one has gone missing near Iran's border with Afghanistan. And the US is assuming it didn't cross the border into Iran. Not shot down as the Iranians claim but crashed or even landed intact in Iran. What is most disturbing is that the Iranians claim it is a drone called the RQ 170. A super secret stealth drowned. The American military won't even confirm the classified programs exist. But the US does believe the Iranians have that drone and believe it crashed in Iran or it could even land as we said he and attack. So they think this may indeed be the case if it is true. What kind of information. Could be gleaned from it. -- -- provisions built into drones to protect sensitive technology if contact is lost it can be erased remotely. But if this is a stealth drone the skin itself could be used to try to duplicate the technology. We all remember that stealth helicopter that went down during the bin Laden raid.
