-- we're gonna begin with breaking news about the economy and it is not good news the Labor Department says. Employers created only 96000. Jobs last month that's some 30000 fewer than expected the unemployment rate fell from eight point 328 point 1%. But that's only because almost 400000. People gave up searching for a job so they're no longer counted as unemployed. The most job losses were in the government and manufacturing sectors Mitt Romney called today's jobs report the hangover after the Democratic Convention. And -- approves the president's policies have not worked and with those job numbers threatening to undermine any of his potential convention momentum. President Obama hitting the road today traveling to the battleground states of New Hampshire and Iowa. Last night he acknowledged what he called his own failings but called November's election the clearest choice and a generation. Claiming the path forward offered by the Democrats is harder but will lead to a better place to counter that message Mitt Romney's campaign releasing. Fifteen new TV ads in eight states today.
