-- -- in Washington with news of a bold move by the government. The Justice Department today sued to stop the merger of US Airways and American Airlines. And using some very candid language as well. In fact an assistant attorney general says the consumer will be shafted. If these two airlines are allowed to be merged they would become the world's largest airline. The airlines are having none of this both American and US Airways say they will fight this all the way through court. And an industry analyst believes that there is a chance that the airlines will -- possibly. By the end of the year the government use one example try and prove its case it showed a route from New York to Houston. On US Airways it was a few hundred dollars but on American it was 14100. Dollars more than 800 dollars more government is saying that the aggressive pricing that has been used by US Airways. Will be lost if these two airlines are allowed to merge.
